IMDb: 1.4 (for the original; this version is rated way too high)
Stink rating: 4.75 of 5
Horrible, horrible re-edited version (by S. Edwin Graham) of a horrible, horrible 1936 serial called The Sea Fiend. The plot is nearly incomprehensible; the acting would make Hal Warren turn his head in shame. The title doesn't even make any sense (at the least original does) in relation to the actual content. And the special effects are as bad as anything ever put on film. Sucky, sucky, suck!

- Is it pleasurable to watch?
- Did the filmmakers have a good idea of how to make a movie work?
